We invite everyone to join us for a Panakhyda (memorial prayer service) for the victims of the war in Ukraine, which will take place immediately following the Divine Liturgy. The Liturgy begins at 10:00 AM. Together we will pray for the fallen, for the wounded, and for peace in Ukraine. All are welcome to attend. Optional donations will support humanitarian aid efforts for those affected by the war.

Our Mission

UAST’s mission is to educate and engage the Tucson community about Ukraine by presenting cultural and educational programs; to preserve traditions through arts, language, and history; and to mobilize volunteers and resources for humanitarian relief consistent with our nonprofit purpose. We create inclusive spaces where families, students, and newcomers can connect, serve, and celebrate.

Our Vision

We envision a Tucson where Ukrainian culture is visible, valued, and shared; where newcomers find support and a sense of home; and where our city plays a meaningful role in helping the people of Ukraine. UAST strives to be a trusted, transparent hub for cultural exchange, youth involvement, and community partnerships that make a lasting, positive impact.
